To provide person-centered supports for individuals with developmental disabilities that promote independence, inclusion, and empowerment to reach their personal vision of happiness and life satisfaction.

As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Sunshine Services is committed to securing the resources needed to sustain and expand our vital programs and services. We do this through a combination of public funding, revenue from organizational initiatives, and generous contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations. These partnerships and donations allow us to provide critical supports across the lifespan. From Early Intervention services for young children to supports that promote independence and inclusion for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). With your support, we can fill gaps in services, reach those who might otherwise go without assistance, and continuously enhance the person-centered programs that empower people to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Sunshine Services is now a provider of Employment and Community First (ECF), a TennCare program that supports people in building independence through employment, community participation, and daily living skills.
Sunshine Services is excited to share that it has been awarded Quality Assurances Accreditation from CQL – The Council on Quality and Leadership. The attainment of this accreditation demonstrates that Sunshine Services is aligning with internationally-renowned standards in the human services field. These standards involve the implementation of sound systems and person-centered practices that help to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
